ULTRACONNECT INTERNET SERVICE AVAILABLE IN CRYSTAL FALLS

Packerland Broadband, announces the launch of its gigabit-speed broadband Internet in the City of Crystal Falls. This

new service, named UltraConnect, is the first of its kind to be offered by a rural cable provider and is ready for

installation beginning January 16, 2017.  UltraConnect makes Crystal Falls the fastest community in the Upper Peninsula

in terms of residential Internet speed. Only a handful of cities across Michigan and Wisconsin provide gigabit download

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR CLEANING SERVICES

The City of Crystal Falls is accepting proposals for cleaning services at the city hall building on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. Crystal Falls City Hall is located at 401 Superior Avenue Crystal Falls, Michigan 49920.   Inquiries and proposals should be directed to Patrick Reagan, City Manager, by phone at: (906) 875-3212 x 101 or by email at: citymanager@crystalfalls.org. Proposals will be accepted until June 9, 2017, at 3:00 p.m.  The city reserves the right to refuse and/or accept any and all proposals. ANNUAL CITY CLEAN UP DAY

 The annual spring cleanup for the residents of the City of Crystal Falls will be held at the Bristol Mine property located at the end of Krempasky Road on Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 7 am until NOON. Items accepted include: Furniture Small Appliances Old Clothing Scrap metals Yard waste & trees TV’s Computers Car batteries Radios Residents will be charged $10 per load to dispose of the allowed items.   Items NOT accepted include: Tires Paint Hazardous Chemicals Household Garbage Treated Wood Building Materials

APPLICATIONS BEING ACCEPTED FOR SEASONAL EMPLOYEES

The City of Crystal Falls is currently accepting applications for summer seasonal employment in the following departments: Golf Course Golf Course Clubhouse Cemetery Department of Public Works   Please download an application below, complete, and return to Clerk/ Treasurer Tara Peltoma, Crystal Falls City Hall, 401 Superior Avenue, Crystal Falls, Michigan 49920.
