A special meeting of the Council for the City of Crystal Falls was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall on Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at 5:00 p. m. Central Time.

Present: Mayor Hendrickson, Councilors Thrasher, Benda, and Koszyk.

Absent: None

Also present were City Manager Nordeman, Attorney Lawrence, and City Clerk/Treasurer Olson.

The purpose of this special meeting was to discuss strategy regarding the litigation case of "Barbara Benda Etal. V City of Crystal Falls".

Mayor Hendrickson led all in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Councilor Koszyk seconded by Councilor Benda moved to meet in executive session, pursuant to the Michigan Open Meetings Act, P. A. 1976, No. 267, 15.268, Sec. 8 (e), to discuss strategy regarding the ongoing litigation of "Barbara Benda Etal v. City of Crystal Falls".

Ayes: Councilor Thrasher, Benda, Koszyk, Valesano and Mayor Hendrickson.

Nays: None

Motion carried.

Meeting moved to closed session at 5:03 p.m.

Meeting reconvened at 6:20 p.m.

Councilor Koszyk seconded by Councilor Thrasher moved to adjourn this special meeting of the City Council.

Motion carried.

Meeting adjourned at 6:25 p.m.
