A special meeting of the Council for the City of Crystal Falls was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall on Monday, January 21, 2008 at 4:00 pm Central Time.

Present: Mayor Pro-tem Valesano, Councilors Heikkinen, and Bicigo.

Absent: Mayor Hendrickson and Councilor Smokevitch

Also present were City Manager Nordeman, City Clerk/Treasurer Olson.

NOTE: Attorney Ron Basso entered the meeting at 4:30 p.m. and Mayor Janet Hendrickson participated in the closed session discussion via telephone from the Iron County Medical Care Facility.

The purpose of this special meeting was to discuss and consider action on:

The purchase of real property.

Councilor Bicigo seconded by Councilor Heikkinen moved to meet in closed session pursuant to PA 267, 1976, Section 15.268 (d) to consider the purchase of real property.

Ayes: Mayor Pro-tem Valesano, Councilors Heikkinen, and Bicigo. Nays: None.

Motion carried.

Meeting temporarily adjourned to the City Manager’s office at 4:05 p.m.

Meeting reconvened at 5:07 p.m.

Mayor Pro-tem Valesano seconded by Councilor Bicigo moved to adjourn this special meeting of the City Council.

Motion carried.
