Whereas, The Crystal Falls Lions Club has selected Bill Santilli and Dave Graff to serve as Co-Citizens of the Year from those nominations based on their contributions to the Crystal Falls community as the Forest Park Trojan varsity football coaches, and

 Whereas, Bill and Dave have served together as the Forest Park Trojan varsity football coaches for twelve seasons, which began in 1996, during which they lead their teams to an outstanding 108/wins and 34/loss record; participated in eleven consecutive playoff appearances; won nine Great Western Conference Championships, six district titles, and five regional titles; have been Division 8 State finalists four times, and won the Division 8 championship in 2007, and

 Whereas, the foregoing accomplishments have been achieved through diligent training, discipline, encouragement, and incessant dedication on their behalf to the youth involved in the Forest Park football program, and

 Whereas, in addition to their success on the football field, both Bill and Dave are active members of the Crystal Falls area, working, living, and raising families in our community,

 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the City of Crystal Falls hereby expresses a big "Thank You" and is honored to recognize and congratulate Bill Santilli and Dave Graff as the 2008 Citizens of the Year, shining examples of citizenship and truly in keeping with the city’s slogan "City of Community Pride".
