A special meeting of the Council for the City of Crystal Falls was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall on Monday, November 5, 2001 at 11:00 a.m. Central Time.

Present: Mayor Cram, Councilors Hendrickson, Nylund and Lind.

Absent: Councilor Benda.

Also present were City Manager Nordeman, City Attorney Lawrence and City Clerk/Treasurer Olson.

The purpose of this special meeting was to discuss strategies regarding pending Oberstar V. City of Crystal Falls and City of Crystal Falls v. Sundberg, Carlson & Assoc. litigation.

Mayor Cram supported by Councilor Hendrickson, moved to meet in closed session to discuss settlement strategies in the Oberstar v. City of Crystal Falls and City of Crystal Falls v. Sundberg, Carlson and Assoc. litigation.

Ayes: 4

Nays: 0

Absent: 1

Motion carried.

Meeting was temporarily adjourned to a closed session at 11:02 a.m.

Meeting reconvened at 12:05 p.m.

There being no further items on the agenda, meeting adjourned at 12:05 p.m.
