A special meeting of the Council for the City of Crystal Falls was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall on Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at 3:00 pm Central Time.

Present: Mayor Hendrickson, Councilors Heikkinen, Valesano, Smokevitch, and Bicigo.

Absent: None

Also present were City Manager Nordeman, City Attorney Lawrence, City Clerk/Treasurer Olson, and Jeff Sjoquist and Paul Novara of Coleman Engineering.

The purpose of this special meeting was to discuss and consider action on items concerning the water projects.

Mayor Hendrickson led all in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Jeff Sjoquist advised the Council on the items covered by Change Order No. 004 with Bacco Construction Co., additional services provided by Coleman Engineering, and adjustments made by MDOT to the water construction projects on Superior Avenue.

Councilor Valesano seconded by Mayor Hendrickson moved to approve Change Order No. 004 for the Water Transmission System Project with Bacco Construction Co.

Motion carried.

Mayor Hendrickson seconded by Councilor Heikkinen moved to approve an amendment to the Owner – Engineer Agreement with Coleman Engineering for the Water System Improvements Project in the amount of $30,900.00.

Motion carried.

Councilor Valesano seconded by Councilor Heikkinen moved to authorize Mayor Hendrickson to sign a Certificate of Substantial Completion of the Water Transmission System Project for Bacco Construction Co.

Motion carried.

Councilor Heikkinen seconded by Mayor Hendrickson moved to adjourn this special meeting of the City Council.
