A special meeting of the Council for the City of Crystal Falls was held in the Council Chamber of the City Hall on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. Central Time.

Present: Mayor Hendrickson, Councilors Thrasher, Heikkinen, Stachowicz, and Valesano.

Absent: None

Also present were City Manager Nordeman, City Attorney Lawrence, City Clerk/Treasurer Olson, Jeff Sjoquist, Mark Gregory, and Steve Tinti.

The purpose of this special meeting was to discuss and take action on a proposed agreement to allow for the purchase of water from the Township of Crystal Falls.

Mayor Hendrickson led everyone in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.

Manager Nordeman explained how this preliminary outline of the proposed agreement was a culmination of a lot of hard work between the City and Township.

Jeff Sjoquist of Coleman Engineering went over the outline and explained each of the 8 items listed. The Councilors asked questions and Mr. Sjoquist offered answers. He noted that Crystal Falls Township unanimously approved the outline at a meeting held on Tuesday, September 6^th.

Councilor Thrasher seconded by Councilor Valesano moved to approve the tentative outline of the Crystal Falls City and Crystal Falls Township water supply agreement.

Ayes: Mayor Hendrickson, Councilors Heikkinen, Thrasher, Valesano, and Stachowicz. Nays: None.

Motion carried.

Councilor Thrasher seconded by Councilor Valesano moved to adjourn this special meeting of the City Council.

Motion carried.
