ORDINANCE NO. 2.10

NON-FLUORIDATION OF WATER

THE CITY OF CRYSTAL FALLS ORDAINS:

Whereas by Public Act Number 346 of 1968 the Michigan Legislature did provide for the fluoridation of water within a five year period from and after July 10, 1968, unless the said governing body of the City of Crystal Falls would by ordinance reject the said proposition, and

Whereas, upon recommendation of the Local medical staff and the consensus of the people it would be deemed not in the best interest of the people of the City of Crystal Falls to have any additional chemical ingredients added to the public water supply,

Be It Therefore Ordained, that the City Council for the City of Crystal Falls do hereby reject the addition of fluoride to the water supply system for the City of Crystal Falls.

Be It Further Ordained, that a copy of this ordinance be published in the Diamond Drill a newspaper published and circulated within the City of Crystal Falls and that the said ordinance be of immediate effect.

Further, let it be known this is merely a renumbering of an ordinance previously adopted.
