ORDINANCE NO. 3.03
AN ORDINANCE TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF VEHICLES ON CITY PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF CRYSTAL FALLS. THE CITY OF CRYSTAL FALLS ORDAINS: SECTION 1. It shall be unlawful for any person to operate any bicycle or motor driven vehicle in any park, cemetery, golf course, or other City recreational areas except those areas designated for vehicular traffic or for special purposes as may be permitted by the park attendant. This provision to be inapplicable to City employees in the course of their employment, or golf carts used in play on the golf course. SECTION 2. Any person violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed to have committed a civil infraction, subject to the payment of civil fines of $50.00 plus costs, for the first violation. Any repeat offense shall be subject to increased fines, as follows: First repeated offense shall be no less than $150.00 plus costs. A fine for any second repeated offense or any subsequent repeated offense shall be no less than $250.00 plus cost. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall take immediate effect to provide for the usual daily operation of the City as outlined in Section 2 of the City Charter; further, this is merely a renumbered version of an ordinance previously adopted.
