ORDINANCE NO. 1.06A

AN ORDINANCE TO REPLACE ORDINANCE 1.06 TO DESIGNATE AN ENFORCING AGENT TO DISCHARGE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CITY OF CRYSTAL FALLS UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF THE STATE CONSTRUCTION CODE ACT (ACT 230 OF THE PUBLIC ACTS OF 1972, AS AMENDED.)

THE CITY OF CRYSTAL FALLS ORDAINS:

SECTION 1. Agent Designation. Pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Electrical Code, in accordance with Act 230 of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, a qualified electrician appointed by the council for the City of Crystal Falls will be designated as the enforcing agent to discharge the responsibilities of the City of Crystal Falls under Act 230 of the Public Acts of 1972, as amended, State of Michigan. The City of Crystal Falls assumes the responsibility for the administration and enforcement of said Act throughout its corporate limits.

SECTION 2. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after adoption as outlined in Section 2.12 © of the City Charter, further, it will replace Ordinance No. 1.06 previously adopted.
